Trail Overview
Little Shoals Trail takes you from US-41 to the Florida hiking trail Little Shoals in the Big Shoals State Park. The road conditions are a mixture of packed sand, loose sand, and some deep holes that can turn into 2 feet deep mud holes after rainy days. You're passing through a swamp area that is flooding the road on a regular base. The road is not always wide enough for two vehicles to pass. 4WD and high clearance are recommended. Big Shoals State Park features the largest whitewater rapids in Florida.
