Trail Overview
FR 235/17 Mile Camp Rd is a North-South easy trail through Osceola National Forest that gets you into the heart of the forest. 95% of the trail is packed sand and light gravel with a few sections of loosely packed sand. 4WD and high clearance are not required on the trail except for a fun little water hole you will encounter. This obstacle does have an easy bypass around it with the water hole possibly not existing during extended dry periods. Cell service is very limited or non-existent in most places. FR 235 falls to the eastern side of Big Gum Swamp Wilderness and offers numerous opportunities to explore offshoot trails.
