Trail Overview
Rattlesnake Road is a short 1.8 mile trail in Jennings State Forest. The trail is mostly loose sand and while the state has a sign stating "4WD recommended," the trail really only requires a good all terrain tire and good throttle control through loose sections. 4WD was not needed even a day after a heavy rain storm. The trail is narrow, but still wide enough for a full size vehicle with a couple of tight spots between trees. There are numerous pull offs to explore on foot/allow traffic to pass, but look for signs stating "no vehicle access" prior to using your vehicle. This is a fun short trail to explore in the somewhat large Jennings State Forest.

Difficulty
The road is a single vehicle wide, but has numerous pullouts for other vehicles to pass. The losse sand is not an issue with good throttle control through thick sections.
