Trail Overview
Spring Creek Landing, also known as Ocala National Forest Road 18, takes you from CR 445 at the north end to the undeveloped Alexander Springs Creek boat ramp at the south end of the trail in the southeast part of the Ocala National Forest. The trail gives you access to the primitive Bluff Landing Campground. The road conditions are a mixture of packed sand, loose sand, and some deep holes that can turn into 5 feet deep mud holes after rainy days. The road is not always wide enough for two vehicles to pass. 4WD and high clearance is recommended, especially at the first mile. The mud holes are very deep and usually flooded. All vehicles must be street legal. Ocala National Forest is in Florida, north of Orlando. It's known for its large areas of sand pine scrub forest. The Juniper Springs, Alexander Springs, and Salt Springs recreation areas have natural pools and canoe runs. Hundreds of lakes and ponds include Lake Kerr and the enormous Lake George.

Difficulty
The first mile is very challenging, don't travel on your own and bring recovery tools. So far I had to recover a vehicle every time I went down that trail.
