Trail Overview
Cohutta Wilderness is a recreation area in the Chattahoochie-Occonee national forest. This trail is part gravel and part dirt. It has many challenging spurs to the main route. The main path is maintained by forest service. The nearby Lake Connasauga offers camping, fishing and other family oriented recreation. The trail runs along the border of a Georgia Wildlife Management Area that is used by hunters and anglers. There are plenty of mountain biking and hiking trails to explore off the main trail.
