Canfield Mountain- Trail 11

Access Description

This is a small trail system for dirt bikers and ATVs right next to the town of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, that has a little bit for everyone. It has hard trails, easy trails, single track and two-track, in a really cool environment. It's close to town, but you can still see wildlife here including deer and moose. There are parking areas at the end of Nettleton Gulch Road and up East Fernan Lake Road. These are multi-use trails shared with hikers and mountain bikers, so please be respectful. There are sometimes trail signs at each trail, but there are often lots of unmarked intersections, and it's like a maze of trails here, so it's really helpful to have a map out here. You may get 1 or 2 bars of cell service while on the trails, but may also have no signal. It's hot in the summer here, and rainy/snowy in the winter, but it's rideable almost all year long, but is best in spring, summer, fall.
