Trail Overview
Trail 9 is a 1.4-mile long single track in the Canfield Trail System that starts out from the north end as a windy dirt single track that is not too narrow, but not wide, going along the edge of a mountainside. It has a lot of curves through the pine trees. It loses 800 feet of elevation from north to south, going gradually downhill with tight corners. The descent starts to get steeper and more troughed, with muddy troughs at the bottom of the hill. At the bottom of the hill, it starts to head east and gradually goes back up a hill and through more mud puddles and overgrown branches. It ends at an intersection with Trail A.
