Trail Overview
Corrals ATV Trail is an almost 7-mile-long ATV trail near Sawtooth City that parallels Road 70197. The northeast end starts at the Grand Prize Trailhead and immediately goes across a wooden bridge across Pole Creek. It enters a pine tree forest on a smooth and wide two-track. The trail is mostly flat the whole way, only gaining a few hundred feet elevation over the 7 miles. It has small hills and descents that go up and down 20 feet at a time, but it mostly meanders through the forest along the creek. A few of the small hills are rockier, with loose cobble and some ruts, but still navigable for any ATV. The trail stays wide and easy. It's not off-camber, but some spots are a little shelfier as it becomes elevated above the creek on the hillside. It also has a couple of very small and easy creek crossings. It goes through a couple of intersections that are signed, where you can connect to the Rainbow Creek ATV Trail. It has a bailout about halfway through on road 70414, which will take you back to the main road. The trail stays in the forest the majority of the time, but near the southwest end, it pops out of the trees into an open dry grassy meadow and ends on Pole Creek Cutoff Road. It's overall a very easy trail for novice riders on dirt bikes or ATVs, that is fun to connect to the also easy Rainbow Creek Trail or the longer nearby single tracks for more experienced dirt bikers. It's also a good way to avoid the dusty main dirt road (70197) if dirt bikers coming from Grand Prize or Germania Creek are headed into Smiley Creek. This trail is open 5/1 - 11/30.
