Trail Overview

This is an easy ATV trail in the Caribou National Forest near Malad, Idaho. The south end of the trail connects to the Trail Hollow to Maple Hollow ATV trail, and it crosses Maple Hollow about halfway through. The north end of the trail is fainter and starts to peter out before it ends at private property. The trail is two-track width and goes along a wide ridge line on rolling green hills, overlooking the rural farms of Malad. It has some loose dirt and small loose rocks but is overall easy with no major obstacles. The trail is pretty overgrown in spots and probably seldom ridden, but is full of beautiful wildflowers in spring and summer, and you might see cow friends on the trail. There are several low branches to watch out for as you ride beneath the trees. The south end of the trail ends at a wire fencing. You have to turn left and parallel the fence for 100 yards or so until you get to the gate crossing to start the next trail.
