Elk Lake ATV

Trail Overview

The Elk Lake ATV Trail is easy and straightforward, with no significant obstacles. It includes a few small muddy creek crossings and minor rocky areas, but nothing overly challenging. The trail is mostly straight and flat, with no off-camber sections or other considerable difficulties, making it an easy ride for anyone on any ATV. It goes through a nice pine tree forest and open grassy meadows. At the north end of the trail, dirt bikes will have the option to continue onto Elk Lake singletrack, but ATVs will have to out-and-back or take Hard Butte ATV trail to Rainbow Lake, which is also an out-and-back ATV trail.
