Trail Overview
Forest Service Road 50325 (FS 325/Grouse Creek-Marshall Mountain Road) is a challenging trail. This section is from the junction of Trail 136 to the fork at Forest Service Road 50335 (War Eagle Lookout Trail). It's extremely rocky with several short, steep climbs. The road is narrow and there are few places to pass. Obstacles include long spans of unlevel trail with baseball-size and larger rocks. There is an area where it appears there have been rock slides, making the road rough traveling. There was a significant water crossing at California Creek. If approaching this trail from the South on Forest Service Road 50335 (War Eagle Lookout Trail) by Side x Side or a full-size off-road vehicle, do not turn onto Trail 136. This is a narrow trail accessible to ATVs and motorcycles only. There is a large area for tent camping at California Lake. This trail is located in the Payette National Forest and the McCall Ranger District.

Difficulty
This road is rocky with dirt and sand mixed in. There are sections where the rocks are smaller but loose. California Creek was 10 to 12 inches deep and about 20 feet wide. The depth more than likely fluctuates with the time of year and storms coming through the area.
