Trail Overview
Imperial Gulch is an epic top-tier single track for incredible views and a smooth fast and flowy trail through meadows full of wildflowers. There are only a couple of sections with some embedded small rocks and a couple roots, but it's mostly smooth dirt the whole way. It's a narrow trail with wide sweeping switchbacks, gradual climbs, side-hilling on an exposed mountainside full of flowers, and a windy fun trail through flat meadows. There's hardly any shade as it mostly goes through grassy meadows full of wildflowers and only goes through a couple of tree sections. This is a really popular one for mountain bikers and hikers since it's close to the Greenhorn trailhead, so you have to watch for oncoming traffic.
