Trail Overview
The primary attraction to the Indian Head Canyon is the marvelous petroglyphs preserved in a cave in the canyon wall. The BLM and Forest Service have developed this site by fencing off the area and providing a parking area. Individuals can view the petroglyphs by taking a short hike up to the caves. These petroglyphs are quite nicely preserved. Visitors are requested to treat these treasures respectfully. Please no touching the petroglyphs!
