Trail Overview
This is an easily graded trail with lots of room to pass oncoming traffic. It leads to the very popular iron creek hiking trailhead, and there are plenty of camping along the way in established campsites. The rule here is that as long as there is a metal fire ring, you can camp there. You are rewarded with amazing views of the Sawtooth Mountains the entire way up the hill. Be bear aware as there are known bears in the area. The road may not be maintained in the winter months. Some of the camping at the trailhead is seasonally closed. Some cell service at the trailhead
