History
Lemhi Pass is the point where the Lewis & Clark expedition crossed the Continental Divide. When the party arrived here they decided to camp for the night and Sacajewea located a cold fresh spring where they camped. That spring is still there and is a worthwhile historical visit. In fact, the Lemhi Pass area is a National Historic Landmark and there are several interesting historical sites that can be visited.
