Trail Overview

Fun canyon with switchbacks and breathtaking mountain ridgelines that parallel Lake Pend Oreille. The trail is somewhat technical but would not consider this a "Hard Enduro". This is the middle connection section between Bayview and Talache Landing single track. This trail has a dirt bike and quad sign at the base but the trail has been grooved and narrowed to the point that a quad will no longer fit as of summer of 2024.

Access Description

Start at the staging area at the end of road nf-230 out of Cocolalla. The trail entrance will be to the south. The trail forks in the beginning, stay right passing trail sign 231(south to north) starting from Little Blacktail Road, as you're heading to the tower, keep an eye out to the right. About 600 yards before the peak the single track begins.
