Trail Overview
This 5.3 mile trail reaches from the vicinity of Pass Lake to the floor of Lemhi Valley where it connects to the BLM Pass Creek Road and eventually back to the Birch Creek Campground. The upper part of this trail traverses open grassy areas and offers panoramic views of the Lemhi Valley. The lower part of this trail drops right into the creek bottom and becomes more difficult to negotiate due to dense willow stands, ruts and washouts. But the rock formations in the trail's lower part are fantastic!!
