Trail Overview
This is a 6-mile segment of the St. Joe Divide Nrt ATV trail that goes along the natural divide between the Coeur D'Alene National Forest and the St. Joe National Forest. From east to west, it goes from the intersection with Dam Creek to the Kellogg Saddle at 4,400 feet elevation. It's a fun ATV ride at high elevation around 5,000 feet through beautiful pine forests, with lots of views of the surrounding Saint Joe Mountains. It does have some rocky narrow exposed spots and some straight uphill climbs and descents that are pretty steep which would be harder for an ATV. It goes through some grassy meadows that have become overgrown and look more like singletrack, but most of the trail is well beat in and easy to follow. There are a couple of rockier sections with embedded rock surfaces covered in loose dirt.

Difficulty
This is an intermediate ATV trail that is a 4 difficulty for ATVs and a bit easier for dirt bikes, due to narrow exposed spots and really steep hill climbs and descents, and some rockier sections.
