Trail Overview

The West Fork of Kelly Creek is a 5.4-mile section of the Kelly Creek ATV loop. The trail begins off the Kelly Creek Corral road with narrow, steep switchbacks in a heavily wooded section before the scenery opens up as you climb towards Grouse Butte. Note - This is a 50" trail with gates at the entrance and exit. Connect and loop using Spur Road 166D to Virginia Gulch, Blue Ridge, and Iron Mountain Trail. Look for the Kelly Creek ATV loop signage - the route is well-marked. Making this loop will take several hours but gives you incredible views of the surrounding mountains. Take a side trip to Iron Mountain Lookout.
