Trail Overview

The East Field access trail is the main route leading to the Haul Road. A few side trails are also accessible through this road, such as the Olive Trail, along with some short hill-climb crossover routes to Old Highway 13. The East Field trail is accessed through the east side of the campground, and leads riders in view of the Bounty Hole, and crosses the Turn Track. The terrain is mostly a mixture of gravel rock and dirt, with the eastern portions favoring gravel while the west side favors dirt, with some water-filled potholes. During wet seasons, the dirt portions of this trail turn to mud, and the low areas fill with water, some holes containing water up to 12" deep. All mud holes and ruts can be avoided, and are periodically repaired and filled as needed to keep the terrain on the East Field trail as smooth as possible. The north boundary of our park can be viewed from this trail as well. In most all cases, this trail can be completed with a two-wheel drive OHV, although slick conditions are evident during rainy seasons. This trail is accessible by ATV, Dirt Bike, and SxS. The East Field Trail falls into the Easy trail rating category.
