Trail Overview
Yellow trail starts by leading you into the north sand dunes at Badlands Offroad Park. You will encounter sand, hills, mud, tight banked turns including a sandy hairpin turn, a few steep hills, and occasional rocks on this trail. After the north sand area, the trail goes by the old tower and then takes you out into the prairie fields for some wide-open riding before looping back past the trailhead. It then runs south throughout the entire park and gives you a taste of all the main areas and terrains Including the bottoms, and the fingers, and takes you by The Arena (obstacle course).

Difficulty
Body damage is very likely on this route for full-size vehicles/SUVs. Especially on the North loop. The primary concern is tight, banked off-camber turns in the sandy areas with trees and bushes on the low side, hardtop/soft-top/roof damage is very likely if you are not careful! The sand has a tendency to slide you sideways into a tree. Pinstripes are almost a guarantee. Very deep mud holes can be mostly avoided in the Bottoms area but not entirely.
