Trail Overview
This area of the park is maintained by the Flint Hills Jeep Club. Creek Pass is a non-directional trail located within the Takanoah's Hill area of the park. Part of this trail is a loop trail just before coming to Ft. Scott Ave. There are several trails that offshoot from Creek Pass. This trail leads to where Native American Indian artifacts were found. There is a plaque describing where some of the other areas from the Native American Homestead are located, as well as a display with some of the artifacts in a case.

Difficulty
Most of this trail is dirt. However, a higher rating has been given for one side of the trail that has significantly deep mud holes. The mud holes do have hard bottoms but there are several inches of mud before you hit the bottom. If you came to this point from Ft. Scott Ave., there is a trail on the left that can be used as a bailout and leads you back to another section of the rest of Creek Pass. If you came from Creek Pass, then you either have to try and go through the mud or turn around. The trail is also eroded away where it meets with Window Wipeout due to water run-off and high traffic. There is a cable at this section of the trail to keep you from rolling over onto the trail Bear Trks. Expect this trail to be very muddy after any amount of rainfall.
