This trail is part of the South Forty Area. Shan Chele starts where Cedar Way ends. The beginning of Shan Chele is very rocky with rock ledges to climb. Once past the rock ledges, the trail becomes muddy as it winds through the trees. Some areas through the trees may be tight for longer-wheelbase vehicles. The trail ends where it becomes rocky again.
