Trail Overview
Troxel's Trough is a non-directional trail in the Turkey Hill area of the park. This trail connects to one of the main loop trails called West Bottoms at one end and Fisher Hook at the other end. The side that connects to West Bottoms is the more difficult side due to mud. The end that connects to Fisher Hook is easier to traverse.

Difficulty
The easier section of the trail off of Fisher Hook is nothing more than a dirt trail with a spot that is slightly rutted out. However, a higher rating is given because the side closest to West Bottoms is nothing more than a mud bog area. The mud in this area is very thick and slimy. This is the kind of mud that will pack your tires and make them look like drag slicks. After the mud, you will have two different hill climbs, one on each side of the mud hole.
