Trail Overview
17-1/4 Trail is a forestry scenic offroad trail located within the Cadillac Forest Management Unit. Most of the trail consists of sand and dirt. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause downed trees, washouts, and mud holes. This trail doesn't see a lot of traffic and therefore has a decent amount of overgrowth. This also means that after recent bad weather, downed trees are a high possibility. Come prepared. The trail finishes in a tall pine tree area that is breathtaking. Regardless of the conditions, this is a great trail with other great trails nearby!
