Croton to White Cloud offers a "back roads" option for traveling. This section of trail is primarily forest & seasonal roads. Although it is possible for a 2WD vehicle to travel this route be aware of recent weather conditions. There are several spots that are prone to wash out and hold deep water holes. This route offers a great way to enjoy the country and see what our public lands have to offer.

A good trail with several fairly shallow water and mud holes. Pretty wide open with not many choke points, but pretty views.

Morning after a rain. Some small water holes on trail from the rain. Nice easy trail.

Mostly easy. A couple sandy spots and the 3 mud holes. You can bypass the mud holes. I struggled with the deepest of the three and had to back out of it.
