Trail Overview
Danaher Plains is a 50-Inch ORV trail that is located East of Newberry in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This trail is smooth, fast, and easy to follow. Due to lack of traffic, there are almost no whoops on this trail. Perfect for young/beginner riders and fun for more advanced trail seekers. The base is shallow sand that often features plant growth through the middle of the trail. This trail can be completed with an average gas tank without worry of fuel shortages. But there is an ORV extension to the closest fuel station that is four miles south of the Western parking lot. Riders will expect to see some logging throughout the trail, and dust on dry days. There is not much in elevation changes, but the surrounding ground cover changes often enough to keep things interesting.
