Trail Overview
Ewing Hill is a fun, local off-road trail within the Manistee National Forest. This trail is found off NFS 9180 Trail and West Shore SMT DNR 19 Trail and can be run in either direction. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. The trail climbs a hill from both directions and is very sandy. It also has an offshoot trail that is steep and can get washed out and become more difficult. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. Please stick to the trail and Tread Lightly! Regardless of the conditions, this is a fun trail that is a lot of fun to wheel, that a lot of people don't know about!
