Trail Overview
This is a moderate route that cuts through the Traverse City Forest Management Unit. The trail is primarily sandy with some areas that have a rocky base. There isn't any specific obstacles other then some deep sandy corners. It would be advisable to air the tires down to give you a more enjoyable ride although it is not necessary if you have 4wd. The cell service is spotty and depending on your provider you may not have signal. There is limited camping on the North side of the trail. The South side of the trail has some more open clear cuts that give you a view of the landscape. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife.
