Trail Overview
FS 2483, also known as Slapneck, is a single-lane dirt road winding through the Hiawatha National Forest. During heavy rain, you could encounter waterholes along this trail. Branches overhang, creating a tunnel effect and making this a great trail day or night. This trail ends at East Slapneck Road, but it can be run in either direction. There is limited cellphone service on most of the trails in this area.
