Trail Overview
Harlow Lake Road is a section of the HLF Trail. It's a two-lane dirt road that winds around Harlow Lake. There are many pull-offs to use for a picnic or to even launch a boat into Harlow Lake. There is also accessibility to the shore of the lake to do some fishing. This road is decently graded most of the way. Once you get past the lake, the trail's terrain becomes a little rougher and you will start to climb upwards until you reach a pull-off with ample parking. At this point, you can get out of your vehicle for a quick hike to an amazing lookout point known to the locals as "Top of the World." From here, you are able to continue on HLF Trail and tackle the Forestville Road section. The primary access to this trail is off Big Bay Road, but you can also get to it from Forestville Road. The service is spotty so offline maps are helpful.
