Trail Overview
Hunt Creek West - MCCCT is a motorcycle-only single track that sports a wide variety of terrain. This section of trail has rocks (from softball-size to a few feet in diameter), tight single-track hill climbs, black dirt, sand, and more than likely a few logs to cross. Although this trail is maintained by The Cycle Conservation Club of Michigan, it is prone to have quick growth plants seemingly choking the trail. This section of trail shares the name between Hunt Creek and The Michigan Cross Country Cycle Trail (MCCCT) because this is a portion of the original 750 miles of trail that was established in Michigan.

Difficulty
This section of trail is maintained by a grooming tractor. This helps reduce the difficulty, but there are some sections that remain rocky and hilly. It may not be one obstacle that creates the challenge, but a combination that makes this trail a challenge.
History
This motorcycle-only single track carries a lot of history. This trail is part of Michigan's original motorcycle trail called the Michigan Cycle Cross Country Trail (MCCCT). At the time that the MCCCT was created, it spanned over 750 miles. Today the MCCCT is still growing and currently exceeds 2,000 miles of continuous motorcycle trail.
