Trail Overview
The Little Manistee/Lincoln Hills Connector - Motorcycle Trail is a 2.5-mile connector between Lake County's popular loops, Little Manistee and Lincoln Hills. This trail is not maintained as often as the standard loops to the north and south. This means the sand is generally more profound, and the whoops are typically taller. One thing to note in this section is that it does cross the ORV route several times. This poses a danger to the riders using this trail. There are stop signs at each crossing, but it is often difficult to cross the trail due to the sand levels. Riders must diligently listen and pay attention to oncoming traffic at each crossing. The oncoming traffic does have the right of way, and unfortunately, the visual is generally poor.
