Lookout Road starts as a gravel road and then turns into a single-lane trail that is part of a network of trails in the area. The trail is adequately wide, except for a tight section near the end. There are a few short spurs off of this trail for you to explore if you so desire. The trail ends at a small creek that would be an excellent setting for a picnic.
