Trail Overview
Narrow Birch Trail is a forestry scenic offroad trail located within the Cadillac and Traverse City Forest Management Units. Most of the trail consists of grass, sand, and dirt. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause downed trees, washouts, and mud holes. This trail doesn't see a lot of traffic and therefore has a decent amount of overgrowth. This also means that after recent bad weather, downed trees are a high possibility. Come prepared. The trail navigates you through an incredible birch tree section that is breathtaking. Regardless of the conditions, this is an awesome trail! Don't forget to stop and admire the wildflowers blooming throughout the trail!
