Trail Overview
National Forest Service Trail 6800 is a very unique and fun off-road trail. Located right by the Intimidator Golf Course, this route is very accessible. This trail is typically easy with nothing technical. Most of the trail is a combination of sand and dirt as you twist and turn through the Manistee National Forest. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. This route can be run in either direction. Regardless of the conditions, this is an awesome trail!
