Trail Overview
FS 4436 also known as Sand Lake Road is a single-lane dirt/sand mix. The trail is part of the Huron National Forest and can be run in either direction. The trail is an easy drive with some wildlife. The trail was mostly made up of pine. This area has been clear cut and some controlled burns at the time the trail was run. Remember to stay on the trails and follow the tread lightly principles since this area is a Breeding ground for Kirtland's Warblers.
