Trail Overview

This is a .5-mile-long single track that accesses the Cabin Creek Cabin, which is a remote log cabin that you can rent by reservation. It's a single-room cabin that was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. The trail to get there loops off of the Red Cub trail, and is an easy single track through the grassy mountaintop, and through a forest of pine trees. There are no obstacles on the way. It's a fun and short detour to make while riding Red Cub to see the cabin, but please be respectful of the renter's privacy, as noted on the signs. The trail on the backside of the cabin if going clockwise is very faint, so it might be better to access it counterclockwise.
