Trail Overview
This trail is steep! The trail is rocky on one side of the mountain and a dirt single track on the other side of the mountain. It is also one of the trails used to access the Alpine #7 trail. On the west side of the mountain, the trail is wide and rocky with some larger root step-ups and lots of switchbacks. There is also a hidden waterfall that is a small walk off the trail. This draws a lot of hikers to this side of the trail and it tends to get busy in the early afternoons. The views you will see are overlooking the entire Flathead Valley. Along with a view into Glacier National Park and the South Fork. On the east side of the mountain, you will ride some very narrow single track with some very tight switchbacks. Overall it's a fun, challenging scenic loop!
