Trail Overview

The Dead Horse Creek trail is a dirt bike-only trail, but it is more like an old road for the entire route. It starts from a small dirt trailhead at the end of FS 136 and goes north for 3.2 miles. The trail is road-width the whole way, curving through grassy meadows and expansive open rolling hills. There are no obstacles and no rocks, only braided lines through grassy hills and some ruts, but it is good for any skill level. It's mostly flat with very gradual hills. It ends at the intersection of Cinnamon Trail and Lizard Lakes. This trail is open to dirt bikes 7/16 - 12/1.
