Trail Overview
Fish Hook is a fun and fairly short trail with some great views. This trail is mostly dirt but it does start as gravel. From the start, you will head up in elevation at a good rate for half of the trail. After that, you will head directly west and follow a mountain ridge. You will still be going up in elevation but at a slower rate. This trail is mostly one vehicle wide and there aren't many opportunities to pass an oncoming vehicle. Otherwise, this trail is actually fairly smooth going. While heading up the ridge, you will be teased with awesome views. When you get to the end of the trail, you will have an awesome view of Trapper Peak and the surrounding mountains.

Difficulty
This is a pretty easy trail with minor obstacles like fallen trees and big rocks on the side of the trail. This trail stays fairly dry even after a rain storm unlike other trails in the area. The trail is mostly one vehicle wide with few chances for passing other vehicles. There are some ruts from runoff to avoid as well.
