Trail Overview
Hart Bench Loop Connector is a nice trail that connects Trapper Chaffin to Hart Bench Loop. The trail is one full-size vehicle wide the entire way with room to pass in a reasonable amount of spots. The beginning and the end of this trail are gradual but there are steady inclines/declines for nearly a mile on both ends. The center section is relatively flat. This is a unique trail for this area, whereas what you see at the beginning of the trail is what you get the entire way. Which in this case is a good thing. Other than a few small potholes, some small rocks, and a few small ruts from runoff, this trail is a very smooth mostly sandy surface. There are some decent views of the surrounding area from this trail towards the middle of the trail.
