Trail Overview
Inspiration Divide is a short 1.1-mile-long single track at the end of the Lizard Lakes trail that goes up to a viewpoint above the Lizard Lakes. The first .9 miles are easy, being fast and flowy single track through meadows and forest to get to a meadow and pond. There is a technical climb at the end to get up to the viewpoint, which will require some skinny side-hilling and tight switchbacks up from the meadow. It's a very loose and steep climb up with loose rocks and ruts. You have to go up several steep switchbacks that are loose and rutted. It's rutted at the top too, with root bands, and slightly off-camber, but you'll get a great view at the top looking down on the Lizard Lakes. It dead ends at this viewpoint, as it is also along the wilderness boundary.

Difficulty
This is an intermediate single track due to a very technical climb at the end of the trail that requires skill to switchback up to the viewpoint up a steep rutted loose slope.
