Trail Overview
This is an offshoot from the main trail. Seasonally closed Oct 14th through June 16th. It features forest views and chances to spot deer and elk. There is a small dispersed campsite at the end of the trail and a larger-style campsite on the way. The larger site has evidence of large bonfires and many off-trail tracks up and down the hills. Trash was noted and the hillside was a little torn up. Please tread lightly and do not continue to destroy the off-trail vegetation in this area. There is one off-camber section and some deeper potholes; a stock SUV with good tire placement could do the trail. Intermittent cell service on this section of trail. Could be sloppy when rainy.
