Trail Overview

This is a ridgeline single track in the Nelson Hills OHV Area that is 2.7 miles long with lots of hill climbs and descents. The south end starts in a wide sandy wash, then it climbs up the small desert hills for a great view of the area. It continues north as a wide ridgeline trail, slightly going downhill as it goes north. It's a steady downhill ridgeline, with some spots that are off-camber with exposure. It gets narrower as it goes around the edge of some of the peaks instead of directly on top of them, somewhat side-hilling around the edge. Parts of the trail have embedded rock faces that are sometimes slick and covered with loose rock chunks, but it's overall an easy trail for a dirt bike. It's pretty wide the entire way, but the off-camber sections at the tops of the peaks would make it a bit too narrow for an ATV.
