Trail Overview
This is an easy wash trail on Pahrump BLM land. It's a mix of a wide gravel wash and a wide dirt trail. It's consistently easy the whole way with no obstacles except for a couple of small washouts. On the west end, it dumps onto a road, or you can turn southeast before hitting the road and continue to ride Part 2 of the Middle Elk Meadow Trail. The trail is surrounded by beautiful Joshua trees and pine trees, with views of the Spring Mountains to the North. Although the trail isn't marked, it's easy to follow, being in the wash the entire way, but it's best to have GPS in this area to connect to the rest of the trails in the area.
