Trail Overview
The road begins at the intersection of HWY 160 at the south end of Pahrump at an elevation of 3,000 feet. It gradually climbs to 4,703 feet with one dip into South Wheeler Wash. The gentle, mostly level, two-vehicle wide road is hard-packed, except it briefly turns to sand down in the wash. Outstanding views of the valley below and looks down into Wheeler Wash from the ridge. Look for wild horses and desert tortoises.
