Trail Overview
Cabin is a solid 7+ trail that has 3 tricky obstacles, and the third will most likely have you pulling your winch line! The trail traverses a narrow rock chute up the side of the mountain. It immediately gets your attention as it ascends nasty rock ledges and very tight left and right turns. The arroyo canyon floor is cut into older rock layers, creating ledges after ledges and very deep V-notches. The large rock ledges require good clearance and rock sliders. The last obstacle is a large waterfall that can be intimidating but is possible. There are no bypasses on this trail, so short wheelbases may want to hook up a line--a winch point is available. Tires no smaller than 37 inches, 2 lockers, and low gears are recommended.
