Trail Overview
Cedro Peak is an off road trail situated in the Cibola National Forest. You'll find several opportunities to take in this trail's views as you gain 1000 feet in elevation from Cedro Canyon to the peak. Find various obstacles ranging in difficulty along the route, test your driving skills with careful tire placement, or skip the challenge and take a bypass route. This trail can be a fun day trip as it only takes one to two hours to complete, or make a vacation out of the adventure and camp at one of the many dispersed camping areas. Should the need arise for more modern amenities, the trail typically has cell signal throughout, and is within minutes of Albuquerque and the smaller communities Tijeras and Cedar Crest.
