Trail Overview
Parsons is a connecting spur that runs from the end of Nogal Canyon/FSR-400 to Bonito Canyon to the south. The surface is a combination of dirt and rock and appears to be very well maintained. The trail should be easily accessible by most vehicles as there are no large obstacles, however, any 2WD vehicles may have difficulties during wet weather. The road is primarily single-vehicle-wide with only a few small areas wide enough to pass if needed. There are a few very tight switchback style turns that vehicles with longer trailers may find difficult, as well as some short steeper grades. Cell service is limited throughout the area due to the surrounding hills and thick trees. There are multiple hiking trails in the area and dispersed camping is permitted. Views are primarily limited with only a couple of small areas where the trees open up and give a view of the surrounding area.
